The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation currently makes grants in five core program areas: higher education and scholarship, scholarly communications and information technology, museums and art conservation, and performing arts
conservation and the environment. Within each of its core programs, the Foundation concentrates most of its grantmaking in a few areas.

 
Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS)

The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is the primary source of federal support for the nation’s 123,000 libraries and 17,500 museums. The Institute's mission is to create strong libraries and museums that connect people to information and ideas. The Institute works at the national level and in coordination with state and local organizations to sustain heritage, culture, and knowledge; enhance learning and innovation; and support professional development.

 
National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is an independent grant-making agency of the United States government dedicated to supporting research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities. NEH grants typically go to cultural institutions, such as museums, archives, libraries, colleges, universities, public television, and radio stations, and to individual scholars.

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT)

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is internationally recognized for academic leadership in computing, engineering, imaging technology, and fine and applied arts, in addition to unparalleled support services for students with hearing loss. Nearly 16,800 full- and part-time students are enrolled in more than 200 career-oriented and professional programs at RIT, and its cooperative education program is one of the oldest and largest in the nation.

 
IS&T

The Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T) is an international non-profit organization whose goal is to keep members aware of the latest scientific and technological developments in the field of imaging through conferences, journals and other publications.
